Our trek to Bhrigu Lake will start at Village Vashisht/Kulang. Vashisht is named after Saint Maharishi Vashisht. Vashisht village is famous for its natural hot springs and a very beautiful Jogni Waterfall although the waterfall is not hot water source it got its water from melting glacier of Bhrigu. On the first day, we will be walking to Moridug which is 6 km from Vashisht and it will take us 3-4 hours the trek will be a little rough because the first-day trek is going to be a very steep trail. After reaching Moridug you will be spending the night at our Moridug campsite.

Today’s journey is going to be a little more challenging as today is the day we trek to the Bhrigu lake. From Moridug to Bhrigu is approx 10 km and it will take you to 7-8 hours of walking on a steep and stony path. Moridug is the last destination where you find the tree line after Moridug there are green meadows for a few miles the meadows fabulous but this trek of High Mountain with cold climate will make you feel like you’re in the heaven as you see clouds below you or right front of you. Even in summers like June you can still find the snow on Bhrigu Lake. As you walk slowly-slowly on slipper boulder at the end of the trail you will start to see glimpses of Holy Bhrigu Lake and this none less than a magical world. From there you feel like you are standing on clouds or if the sky is clear then you can see Solang valley, Manali town, and beautiful Dhauladhar range. After staying at Bhrigu Lake for a couple of hours we start the trek back down to Moridug. Tonight we will be spending our night at the same campsite and tomorrow we head back to Vashisht from where we started our trek.

Today after breakfast we will start the final phase of this trek by a trek down to Vashisht village which will take you 3-4 hours to reach there. After this long trek your body will need some relaxation so you can bath in vashishts natural hot springs. You will get rid of your all tiredness by relaxing in hot springs it will make your body feels loose and relaxed your muscles within a couple of minutes. We’ll drive to Gulaba, halfway up the Rothang Pass, and start the trek from the roadside. It’s the steady ascent of 700m and will give everyone the chance to stretch their legs into the groove. Throughout the day we’ll have great views of the peak Hanuman Tibba(5980m)massif. We camp on the atmospheric bowl of Raulikhoi.

Today’s trekking will take us once more onto the high plateaus above the Kullu Valley. We start the day with an ascent up to Bhrighu Lake (4280m). Another isolated spot, the lake nestles under it’s own peak which stands at 45550m and offers great views once again. We’ll climb to the top of Bhrighu Peak before starting our journey back towards the valley floor. We’ll camp just above the tree line and have a last chance to savior the magnificent views. After staying at Bhrigu Lake for a couple of hours we start the trek back down to Moridug. Tonight we will be spending our night at the same campsite and tomorrow we head back to Vashisht from where we started our trek.

We have a steep descent to finish the trek today. The trail winds its way through the various types of vegetation on offer in the valley and as we get closer to the village of Vashisht will hopefully see some of the area's wonderful wildlife. Snow cocks, monals, and khaji pheasants are some of the many birds around, and above there are sure to be plenty of eagles and vultures gliding effortlessly through the sky. Vashisht is famous for its natural hot spring and upon arriving in the village we’ll head straight for a relaxing bath. The perfect way to end the trek.
