Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Kulang to Moridug

The trek starts from Kulang, which is a small village located near Manali. From Kulang, we will trek to Moridug, which is a beautiful campsite located at an altitude of 10,550 ft. The trek to Moridug is a gradual ascent through lush green forests and meadows. It will take us 3-4 hours the trek will be a little rough because the first-day trek is going to be a very steep trail. After reaching Moridug you will be spending the night at our Moridug campsite.

Day 2 Moridug to Bhrigu Lake and Back

On day two, we will trek from Moridug to Bhrigu Lake, which is located at an altitude of 14,100 ft. The trek to Bhrigu Lake is a steep ascent and requires a good level of fitness. However, the views from the top are breathtaking and make the trek worth it. From Moridug to Bhrigu is approx 10 km and it will take you 7-8 hours of walking on a steep and stony path. Moridug is the last destination where you find the tree line after Moridug there are green meadows for a few miles the meadows are fabulous but this trek of High Mountain with cold climate will make you feel like you’re in heaven as you see clouds below you or right front of you. Even in summers like June, you can still find snow on Bhrigu Lake. As you walk slowly-slowly on a slipper boulder at the end of the trail you will start to see glimpses of Holy Bhrigu Lake and this none less than a magical world. From there you feel like you are standing on clouds or if the sky is clear then you can see Solang valley, Manali town, and the beautiful Dhauladhar range. After staying at Bhrigu Lake for a couple of hours we start the trek back down to Moridug. Tonight we will be spending our night at the same campsite and tomorrow we will head back to Vashisht from where we started our trek.

Day 3 Moridug to Vashisht

Today after breakfast we will start the final phase of this trek by a trek down to Vashisht village which will take you 3-4 hours to reach there. After this long trek, your body will need some relaxation so you can bathe in vashishts natural hot springs. You will get rid of your all tiredness by relaxing in hot springs it will make your body feels loose and relax your muscles within a couple of minutes. And there is our trek to Bhrigu lake ends here.
